“Braces” is the term that was used to describe orthodontics in the past. There are two types of braces- removable and -fixed braces.

Removable would be Invisalign, which you can read about here, and the old fashioned, spring and screw which can be effective and inexpensive in many cases. Treatments vary in length from 3 Months to 1.5 years generally.
